Lusaka City Roads Decongestion Project, Zambia

Lusaka City Roads Decongestion Project is the first-of-a-kind project that aims at constructing and rehabilitating roads in the Zambian capital.

Afcons is rehabilitating/widening 68.4kms of lane roads, constructing 26.8kms of bidirectional dedicated bus lanes, 4 flyovers, and 5 at-grade junctions.

The construction of the 930m Makeni Flyover is on in full swing, at present. This project is a major step in infrastructure development of the country as it introduces the concept of flyover in Lusaka.

The company is also constructing a building for the Ministry of Local Government, which sprawls over 66500 sq. feet.

In Zambia, over 2,000 locals have been employed and periodical trainings are being provided for their skill development.
