AFCONS entered into the feild of Metro when it carried out tunneling work for Calcutta Metro Railway back in late Eighties.

AFCONS has written the Success Story of being the first Indian Company to construct the Underground Station and Tunnel , and is also the only Indian Company to have successfully completed the Underground Station without any Foreign Patner(at Barakhamba for DMRC ).

AFCONS has also constructed Station buidings and Elevated Viaducts for Delhi Metro Rail Corporation ,India. AFCONS has made strategic tie-up with Transtonnel Stroy of Russia for upcoming projects of Kollata metro and Chennai metro.
