The work on the longest bridge on Indian Railways on the land and back water of kerala in nearly completed except finishing works such as ballast retainer and wearing cost. The professional way in which this bridge work has been handled by AFCONS Infrastructure Limited has impressed everyone who has visited the project site including Chairman Railway Board, Member Engineering Railway Board, MD/RVNL and many other dignitaries. The meticulous planning, massive mobilization, elaborate preparations and clockwork precision with which all the activities including the girder launching was accomplished would impress even the best worldwide experts in this field. The work will be completed in a record time of 2 years and 2months. This record will be envious for any one for a work of this magnitude. Although the complete work was planned and executed under the overall leadership of yourself and Mr. N.S. Iyer, the construction of Shri R. Anand Kumar and Shri Jude Rodha for the execution of this project, has been indeed extraordinary. They have showed their technical and managerial competence. They had eye on every detail and managed the difficult labour conditions and hassle reaction of a section of public is most matured manner.
I doubt if there is any other company in our country engaged in construction industry which could have executed this 4.6 km elevated structure better than AFCONS Infrastructure Limited. RVNL is extremely lucky to have AFCONS Infrastructure Limited as their Agency to execute this prestigious work. Our total reliance and trust in our organization for accomplishing this challenging job with extremely tight target has been fully vindicated.
This is also to appreciate your advance technological and equipment deployment and also well planned and coordinated efforts taken by you under extremely adverse conditions. The safety measures taken by you during the whole of this operation were truly world class.
