We are happy to inform you that the Marine terminal Facility at Cuddalore, consisting of an Offshore Jetty, twin submarine pipelines of 1000 meters and 3800 meters of Onshore pipelines, (both pipe-in-pipe), designed and constructed by AFCONS on an EPC basis, has been commissioned and is being put to beneficial use since 24th July'09.
We are extremely satisfied with the professional competencies displayed in execution of the works by AFCONS giving due consideration to the quality and safety aspects. AFCONS achievement of ZERO LOST TIME INCIDENT in spite of having to work in tough marine conditions is noteworthy. The AFCONS team worked in close coordination with our site team to solve on-site issues and in general displayed a high level of due diligence in all aspects of project management. They also displayed an innovative approach in solving technical issues at site. Examples which come to my mind are the offshore pulling using a winch stationed on barge and placing the concrete mixing units on the barge.
