Executed work usning innovative equipment and methos. These included the construction in the upper loose strata of a diaphragm wall to act as ground support outside the shaft . Blasting operations wre controlled to minimize vibration. Peripheral grouting techniques were used to mjnimize water inflow. |

The shaft wa lined with concrete to a high standard of finish using specially fabricated shutters. |
