| Project Brief | |
| AFCONS constructed two submarine pipelines in 1998, across Thane Creek near Mumbai. The pipes were laid using “Bottom Pull Method”, by deploying 200 T. capacity linear winch. The pull length was 2500 m. Balance portion was in inter-tidal zone. No blasting was permitted for rock excavation. Rock was to be chiseled out using reverse circulation rigs with percussion equipment, mounted on jackup platforms. | |
