The work involved construction of an offsh9ore wharf 520 mts long and 20.50 mts wide (suitable for berthing tow ships upto 90000 DWT) and two approach bridges each of 54 mts length. |

AFCONS maintained excellent safety standards completing the work with no fatalities and an LTIFR(Lost Time Injury Free Ratio) of 1.43 against a prevailing LTIFR. All construction working during period from 28th January 1997 upto December 1999 was completed without any lost time accident. |

Paradip port now possesses a World Class Wharf which withstood a major super cyclone. |
