Jetty Modification Works For Jamnagar Export Refinery Works, Gujarat
Project Brief
The work involved Fabrication and Erection of 71 nos of trestles modules, Hydro-Carbon Pipelines laying (offshore & Onshore), Auxillary mooring platform publication and erection, berth modification / Shutdown works, Loading Arm Erection etc. all including testing and commisioning.

This work was a part of Jamnarar Refinery Expansion project connecting the Refinery with the port. The work was time bound and involved extremely intricate structural fabrication and welding conforming to international standards like AWS D1.1, ASME Section lX, ASTM, etc. In fact, the specifications and nature of the work was similar to what is generally required for fabrication of offshore structure in Oil & Gas industry. Total project quality was inspected by Lloyds Register Asia(LRA) as a third party inspection agency.
A fabrication yard of 16.8 acres was developed having facilities like CNC Profile cutting machine, EOT Gantry cranes, High capacity crawler and tyre mounted cranes, welding booths, generators, Blasting and Paintings equipments etc. Each trestle module of 58.5 m length and average 65 MT in weight made of Tabular steel pipes was fabricated with sequential welding considering the heat and stress developed due to welding.
