The work comprised of Construction of 2060m long bridge having 55 spans of 33m & 11 spans of 22 m |

Foundation consist of 4 nos. of 1.2m dia. Cast in situ R.C.C. bored piles for piers & 8 nos. of 1.2m dia piles for abutments. |

Superstructure was with single post tensioned box girder for 33m spans & 3 nos. precast pretensioned I girders for 22m spans. |

Sharavati Bridge at Honnavar was awarded SECOND prize in the competition for Most outstanding Bridge National Awards 1995 - Category I by Indian Institute of Bridge Engineers in the year 1995 |
